Once upon a time, in a kingdom so grand, lived a spoiled princess with a wave of her hand. She loved shiny jewels and fancy things too, but never thought of others, just me, me, and you. One day while playing by the shimmering brook, she saw a green frog, and gave it a look.
The frog said, "Dear princess, I was once a great prince! A spell was cast on me, and now I must convince. If you'll just kiss me, I will be set free, and together we'll be happy, just you wait and see!" The princess was shocked and turned up her nose. She thought, 'A frog? I’ll stick to my clothes.'
But something inside her began to shake. Could she really help him, for kindness' sake? So with a big sigh, she bent down with a frown, then kissed the frog lightly and looked all around.
In a flash of bright light, the frog changed his form! The princess was amazed, it was a magical storm! Before her stood a prince, dressed in gold, with a charming smile and a heart of pure gold. "Thank you, dear princess, for the kindness you showed. Our friendship will blossom, like a beautiful rose!"
The princess now learned that friends are so true. It's not just the looks, but the heart shining through. They laughed and played, sharing stories at night, as the moonlight glimmered, oh, what a sight!
Days turned to weeks, and soon it was time, for the prince to return to his palace so fine. But they promised to meet by the brook every day, to play and to laugh and to dance and to sway.
One sunny afternoon, with the sky oh so blue, they sat by the water, just the princess and you. She learned from the prince about courage and grace, and the joy that you find, when you help in this place.
The princess was changed, she now gave and shared, she helped all her friends, for she truly cared. So when voices were heard, like giggles and glee, she welcomed them all, it was a grand jubilee!
And so in the kingdom, happiness thrived, with a caring princess, all the people derived. The frog that was once, just a green little sage, brought friendship and love, and turned the next page.
So always remember, it's not about looks, but the love and the kindness that bring us our books. A lesson so sweet, like a soft, gentle hug, for true friendship shines like a warm, cozy rug.
