It’s Saturday and the sun shines bright. "Are you ready for the big race?" Dad asks, smiling. I nod excitedly, my heart racing with joy. Today is camel racing day! We hurry to the race track where many camels wait to run. Some are brown with long hair, and others are light tan with big, curious eyes.
As we arrive, I spot a charming camel. She has long legs, big eyes, and a playful spirit. "Dad! Look at that one! Does your camel run fast?" I ask. He chuckles and replies, "Yes, she does! Her name is Farha." Farha stands tall and proud, as if she knows she is the star of the day!
The race begins! The announcer yells, "On your marks, get set, GO!" The camels leap forward, dust flying all around. I cheer loudly for Farha, "Come on! You can do it!" She runs swiftly along the track, her long legs moving gracefully as she keeps up with the other camels.
But then, just like that, Farha comes to a sudden stop! My heart drops as I watch her. “Oh no! Why did you stop?” I gasp. Then I have a brilliant idea! I grab a juicy peach from Dad. "I’ll help you, Farha!" I shout, hopping on my bike and pedaling towards her.
Holding the peach high, I call out, "Farha! Look here!" Her big eyes light up, and she sees the peach! Suddenly, she stirs and begins to run again, following the scent of the fruit. I can’t believe my eyes as Farha takes off, her speed electric!
"Go, Farha, go!" I cheer, my voice soaring above the crowd. The other camels rush by, but Farha is now right in the race! She pushes forward, focusing on the peach—a delicious prize in her mind.
As we near the finish line, my pulse races. Farha is neck and neck with the other camels. I can feel the excitement bubbling in my belly. I shout louder, hoping to encourage her more. "Faster, Farha! You can do it!"
In a final burst of energy, Farha zooms ahead! She crosses the finish line first, and I leap off my bike, rushing to her side. "You did it, Farha! You won!" I say, handing her the peach with pride.
Farha eats the peach happily, her tail swishing back and forth. Dad grins, proud of our little champion. "Well done, Farha!" I cheer, feeling like a winner, too. Today was the best day ever!
As the sun sets, I know this will be a day I’ll never forget. I smile at Dad and say, "Can we come back next week?" He nods, and my heart fills with excitement for more adventures waiting to begin.
