Sammy the Squirrel's Search for the Missing Acorn

Sammy the Squirrel had a big problem, oh dear! He lost his favorite acorn, it was nowhere near. He searched his little tree, he searched on the ground, but his favorite acorn was nowhere to be found.

"Oh no!" cried Sammy, with a frown on his face. "I need to find my acorn! I must pick up the pace!" He scampered to find his good friend, the bird, to ask for some help, that was his best word!

He found little Bella, the bright bluebird, singing sweetly on a branch, not a worry stirred. "Bella! Oh Bella! Have you seen my acorn? I lost my dear treasure—a tasty delight, it’s so worn!"

Bella chirped softly, "Don’t you worry, Sammy! Let's go on a search, it will be fun, just like a jammy! I’ll help you find it, we’ll look high and low, together we'll find it, in the sun’s golden glow!"

So off they went, Sammy and Bella flew, asking their friends, for help could make two. They met Timmy the Turtle, with his shell so neat, and together they traveled, exploring the street.

"Timmy! Oh Timmy! Have you seen my treat? My favorite acorn—it's round and so sweet!" Timmy pondered slowly, then smiled with glee, "Let’s look by the pond, it might just be free!"

The trio searched the shore, peeking here and there, and soon they met Fox, with his bright, fluffy hair. "Hello there, my friends! What is it you seek?" Sammy explained quickly, feeling a bit weak.

They climbed up the trees, looked down in the grass, until suddenly Bella said, "Oh look! There’s a pass!" They followed a path, through flowers aglow, and there in the sun, was Sammy’s acorn in tow!
