Ugochi woke up feeling unwell. Her head ached and her throat was sore. She looked out her window and saw the sun shining bright. "I don’t want to miss a fun day!" she thought. But Ugochi knew she had to visit the doctor to get better.

Her mom took her to the bright office with friendly colors. Ugochi saw toys and books, and it made her smile a bit. A kind nurse called her name. She wore scrubs and had a friendly smile. Ugochi felt a little better seeing her. The nurse said, "Let’s check how you're doing!"
Next, Ugochi met Dr. Nneka, a gentle woman with glasses. She was very kind and asked Ugochi about her aches. "Where does it hurt?" she inquired. Ugochi told her everything. Dr. Nneka listened to her heart and checked her throat, saying, "We will make you feel better!"
After the check-up, Ugochi learned she just needed some rest and a yummy soup. Dr. Nneka gave her a sticker for being brave. "You’re strong, Ugochi!" she said. Ugochi beamed and thought that visiting the doctor was not so scary after all.
When they got home, Mom made Ugochi her favorite soup. She snuggled with her blanket and watched her favorite show. Ugochi felt the love and care around her. Soon, she knew she would be back to playing outside with her friends, happy and healthy.
