Once upon a time, in a sunny little town, lived three little kittens with fur soft and brown. They played all day, so lively and free, chasing butterflies by the big oak tree. One day, they lost their mittens, oh dear! They looked at each other, filled with fear.
The first little kitten said, "Let's search high and low!" The second kitten squeaked, "To the meadow, let's go!" The third kitten nodded and purred with delight, together they'd find their mittens tonight.
As they walked through the field with colors so bright, they met a wise rabbit with fur shining white. "Have you seen our mittens? We lost them, you see!" The rabbit replied, "Oh yes, come follow me!"
They hopped to a burrow where the rabbit did dwell, and found a lost mitten, oh, it fit oh so well! "One down, two to go!" the kittens purred with glee, feeling much closer to where they should be.
Next, they spotted a frog on a lily pad green, who leaped with a smile and a joyful scene. "Have you seen our mittens?" they asked with a plea. The frog said, "I saw one by the old cherry tree!"
They raced to the tree, with hearts full of hope, and found the second mitten, oh how they did glope! "Only one left!" they cheered, running fast. They learned about looking after their things at last.
At last, in the garden, with flowers aglow, they saw their last mitten tucked under the snow! They clapped their paws and danced round in a whirl, for they had learned a big lesson, oh what a great twirl!
The three little kittens, no longer afraid, now knew their responsibilities, and that they must take care. They thanked all their friends for helping them see, that there’s joy in keeping things tidy and free!
With mittens in hand, they headed back home. They played in the sun and no longer would roam. Now every day, they keep their things neat, these three little kittens, so happy and sweet!
So remember, dear children, when you play and you’re fun, to care for your things and get all the work done. Just like the kittens, keep your toys in a row, and you’ll live happily, this I know!
