Dino's First Day of School

Dino the dinosaur woke up with a big sigh. Today was his first day at school! His mom said it would be fun, but Dino felt nervous and shy. He looked at his bright green scales in the mirror, hoping for a little courage.

As he walked to school, the trees whispered softly. Dino saw other kids laughing and playing. A little dinosaur named Tina, with pink spots, waved at him. Dino waved back, feeling a little better.

When he got to class, he saw many new faces. Dino stood by the door, feeling like a big rock. The teacher, Mr. Rex, smiled and said, 'Welcome, Dino! We're happy to see you!'

Dino found a seat next to Tina. She said, 'Don’t worry, Dino! Let's be friends!' Dino smiled and felt warm inside. He liked the sound of that!

Class started with fun games. They played a big team game called Dino Tag. Dino ran and laughed, forgetting all his worries for a while. He loved being outside with everyone.

After recess, they had art. Dino painted a picture of his favorite place – the sunny river. Everyone admired his colorful strokes, and Dino felt proud. He made new friends along the way.

At lunchtime, Tina shared her lunch. 'Try my dino-burgers!' she said. Dino took a bite and said, 'Yum! These are amazing!' They laughed and enjoyed their meal together.

In the afternoon, they had story time. Mr. Rex read a tale about dinosaurs who went on adventures. Dino listened closely, dreaming about his own adventures with friends.

When the bell rang, Dino felt a little sad. He didn’t want to leave his new friends. Mr. Rex said, 'Tomorrow is another day! Come back and learn more!'
