One sunny Saturday, Lily and her mom decided to go shopping. They made a list of things to buy: apples, new shoes, and a birthday present for Lily's friend. Lily was so excited!

They arrived at the big shopping mall. The mall was full of bright lights and colorful stores. Lily saw a toy store and asked her mom if they could go inside. Her mom said yes!

In the toy store, Lily saw all kinds of toys. She loved the stuffed animals and the shiny dolls. But then, she remembered the birthday present. She had to choose something special for her friend.

After the toy store, they went to the shoe store. Lily tried on many pairs of shoes. Finally, she found a pair that sparkled and looked just like her favorite color, purple!

With their shopping done, Lily and her mom enjoyed ice cream. They sat outside in the sunshine, happy and full. It was a wonderful day spent together!
