Lila was a little girl with big, beautiful wings. They sparkled in the sunlight with colors of pink, blue, and gold. Lila loved her wings, but she was sad. She wanted to fly so high, but every time she tried, she fell down like a feather. Lila thought, "Why can’t I fly?"

One sunny day, Lila saw her friends soaring through the sky. A bright yellow bird flew by, singing sweet songs. "Lila! Come and fly with us!" her friends called. Lila flapped her wings excitedly, but up she didn't go. She felt a little tear in her eye. "Why do my wings not work?" she whispered to herself.
Lila decided to visit Wise Old Owl in the tall, green tree. Wise Old Owl was very wise and knew many things. “Why can’t I fly?” asked Lila with a quiver in her voice. "You have special wings, dear Lila. You must believe you can fly!" he said. Lila thought for a moment. “Believe? How do I do that?” she asked, curious.
The owl smiled and said, “You must try! Take a deep breath and imagine the wind under your wings. Close your eyes and believe you can soar!” Lila felt hopeful. She closed her eyes and took a big breath. With all her heart, she imagined flying. That night, she dreamed of floating in the stars.
The next day, Lila flapped her wings again. This time, she felt different. She believed she could fly! Lila ran and jumped with all her might. And, whoosh! Up she went into the air! She soared like a beautiful bird, feeling the soft wind and laughing with joy. Lila learned that believing in herself made her dreams come true.
