Washy was a lazy squirrel who loved to nap in his cozy tree. One sunny day, he woke up and saw a line of busy ants working hard on the ground. They were carrying bits of food, and Washy couldn't help but notice their teamwork. He thought, "Those ants are so small, yet they work so hard!"

Curious, Washy climbed down to the grass and asked the ants, "What are you doing?" The ants replied, "We are collecting food because winter is coming soon! We must be ready!" Washy admired their dedication and wanted to do something to help.
"You all are so small and carry heavy food!" Washy said. "It must take you a long time to collect enough for the winter. If you want, I can help you!" The ants looked at each other in surprise, but they were happy to have extra help from such a big squirrel.
Washy got to work right away! He gathered acorns and nuts, while the ants showed him where to find the best food. They cheered him on, saying, "Good job, Washy! You're so strong!" Washy felt proud and realized it was fun to help others, sharing laughter and chatting with the little ants.
As the days passed, Washy and the ants filled their food storage. When winter came, they had enough food! The ants said, "Thank you, Washy! We couldn't have done this without you!" Washy smiled and replied, "I learned how wonderful it is to work together. Let's keep helping each other!"
