Once upon a time, there were three little pigs. They were siblings who loved to play and laugh. One day, they decided to build their own houses. The first little pig, named Pippin, built his house with straw. It was quick and easy!
The second little pig, called Poppy, built her house with sticks. She thought it looked nice and was happy. But the third little pig was Wise Wilbur. He worked hard to build his house with bricks. It took longer, but it was strong.
One sunny day, a big, hungry wolf came to the pigs’ neighborhood. He saw Pippin's straw house and licked his lips. The wolf huffed and puffed and blew the straw house down! Pippin ran to Poppy’s house.
The wolf then followed them to Poppy's stick house. He huffed and puffed again. With one great breath, he blew the stick house down! Both pigs squealed and ran fast to Wise Wilbur's strong brick house.
Wilbur welcomed his siblings inside just in time. The wolf came to their brick house, feeling very hungry. He huffed and puffed, but the house did not budge! The wolf was very angry now.
The hungry wolf tried again and again. He huffed and puffed with all his might, but the brick house was too strong! Wilbur smiled and said, ‘Hard work pays off!’, and the two little pigs felt safe.
The wolf got tired of trying. He thought and thought. Then he had a sneaky idea! He decided to go through the chimney! The three little pigs were very clever and made a quick plan.
They lit a big, warm fire in the fireplace. As the wolf came down, he fell into the pot of chilly water! Yikes! He jumped back up and ran away, never to be seen again!
Pippin and Poppy cheered for Wilbur. ‘Hooray! You saved us!’. They learned that hard work and being prepared is very important. The three little pigs lived happily ever after.
From that day on, they built their houses together, strong and safe. They played and laughed, but also finished their work! And they never forgot the wolf who taught them a lesson about hard work.
