Peter woke up one morning, and what did he see? Snowflakes falling, so big and so free! He jumped out of bed with a cheerful shout, "Today I will play! I can't wait to go out!"
In his warm coat and boots, all fluffy and bright, Peter stepped outside, oh, what a sight! The world was all covered in sparkling white, The trees, the rooftops, all felt so light!
He gathered some snow and rolled it around, To make a big snowman, so round and so sound. He gave him a scarf and a hat on his head, Then stepped back to see him, and Peter then said,
"Oh, you look so happy, with your buttony eyes! My snowy friend, youâre a marvelous surprise!" He laughed and he danced, full of glee, What fun by the snowmanâjust him, and just he.
But wait, what's that sound? A giggle nearby! Peter turned, and he saw a friend fly by! It was Lisa, his neighbor, with a smile on her face, "Letâs have a snowball fight! Letâs pick up the pace!"
They threw snowy balls, and they laughed all around, A flurry of fun, with joy that they found. Snowflakes were flying, both big ones and small, In the bliss of the winter, they were having a ball!
After their play, they sat down to rest, Watching the snowflakes, they felt truly blessed. The world sparkled bright, with the sun shining down, How beautiful winter was, in their snowy town.
"How about some hot cocoa?" Lisa did say, "With marshmallows on top, to end this fine day!" They ran to her house, cheeks rosy and warm, To sip on their treats, sharing tales of their charm.
As the sun went down, and the sky turned to gray, Peter waved to Lisa, âWhat a wonderful day! Iâll dream of our fun, and the snow by the street, Until another snowy day, oh, that will be sweet!â
Back in his bed, with the stars up so bright, Peter closed his eyes, feeling cozy and right. In his dreams, he would play in the snow, Full of laughter and joy, with friends all aglow.
