Rashid and the Lost Bag

In the lively city of Kuwait, there lived a cheerful boy named Rashid. One sunny day, he said, "Dad, look at the towers! They are so tall!" Rashid and his family stood in the Shuwaikh area, admiring the beautiful Kuwait Towers in the background, dressed in colorful clothes ready for a day out, enjoying the warmth of the sunshine and the excitement of the city. The streets were bustling with joy and laughter, with traditional Kuwaiti architecture surrounding them.

Rashid and his father walked through Mubarakiya Market, where the air was filled with wonderful smells. Rashid saw so many shops full of colorful goods. Suddenly, he noticed something shiny on the ground. "Dad, look!" he shouted, bending down to pick up a small bag. His father watched him with curious eyes, wondering whose bag it could be. The market was alive with vendors calling out, selling their beautiful crafts, and it was the perfect place for an adventure.

Rashid held the bag tightly and asked various vendors, "Do you know who lost this?" But each vendor shook their head and said, "No, sorry, we don’t know!" Rashid felt his heart sink. He looked at his father, his eyes full of concern. "What will we do, Dad?" His father smiled warmly and replied, "Don’t worry, Rashid. We will find the owner!" His kind words made Rashid feel a little better, but he wanted to help more.

Rashid exclaimed and rushed towards the old man. He held out the bag and said, "Excuse me, sir, is this yours?" The old man’s face lit up with surprise and joy. "Oh my, yes! Thank you, young man!"

At school the next day, Rashid couldn’t wait to tell his friends about his great adventure. "Guess what, everyone! I found a lost bag!" he exclaimed. His friends listened with wide eyes and smiles. "And I gave it back to its owner!" Rashid continued. The room buzzed with excitement, the kids cheering him on, delighted by his story of honesty and bravery.

Rashid’s teacher smiled and said, "What a wonderful lesson, Rashid! Being honest and helping others is very important." Rashid nodded, feeling proud. The room was full of discipline and respect as they all learned about values together.

As Rashid looked around his classroom, he saw the Kuwaiti flag hanging proudly on the wall. It reminded him of his responsibility as a good citizen. He knew he would always help others, just as he had helped the old man. "I want to always do the right thing!" he declared. His friends cheered, feeling inspired.

Every day, Rashid remembered that day in Mubarakiya Market. Helping others brought happiness not just to them but to himself too. With a big smile, he promised to always lend a hand when someone was in need. Rashid learned that kindness was a treasure far more valuable than gold.

And so, Rashid grew up understanding that being honest and helping others would shine brighter than the brightest towers in Kuwait City.
