Once upon a time, there was a beautiful peacock named Percy. He had bright feathers and a wonderful tail. When he flew, he left behind a rainbow trail that made everyone smile. Percy loved to fly and spread joy all around him.
One day, news of Percy's magical talent reached a queen. She ruled a nearby kingdom and was very curious. "I want a rainbow in my sky!" she declared. So, she summoned Percy to her grand palace. Percy was excited yet nervous as he flew to meet the queen.
When Percy arrived, he saw a big golden cage. It sparkled in the sunlight, but it made him feel trapped. The queen thought if Percy stayed close, she could see rainbows whenever she wanted. Percy missed the open sky and felt sad in the cage.
Days went by, and Percy's feathers lost their bright colors. He no longer felt like the happy peacock that he was. The queen noticed that Percy was not cheerful anymore. She wondered why he looked so glum and went to talk to him.
One day, she approached the cage. Percy sat silently, looking very sad. The queen asked, "Why are you so downcast, dear peacock?" With a soft voice, Percy replied, "Majesty, I need to fly to bring rainbows. In this cage, I feel lost."
Percy's words warmed the queen's heart. She realized he needed to be free. She thought about the beauty of freedom and what it meant to Percy. With a heavy heart, she unlocked the cage and set him free.
As Percy flew into the open sky, his feathers glowed bright again. He spread his wings wide, and a stunning rainbow appeared behind him! The queen watched in amazement, understanding the magic of freedom.
From that day on, the queen promised to respect all creatures. She became a champion for animal rights in her kingdom. She knew that true beauty was found in nature, not in keeping animals caged.
Percy continued to fly high, painting rainbows across the sky. Each time he soared, he reminded everyone of the importance of freedom. The skies were now filled with colors, and hearts were filled with joy.
And so, Percy the peacock brought happiness wherever he flew, teaching all about freedom, respect, and harmony between humans and the wonderful animals of the world.
