Once upon a time, there was a kind pig named Percy. "I want to be a family pet!" he squealed one sunny morning. Percy trotted to the front door, hoping to impress the family inside. He practiced his best dance moves, wiggling and twirling, shouting, "Look at me! I'm a dancing pig!" The family peeked outside, and their eyes widened in surprise. "," Argh! Pig out you go!" they cried, laughing and shaking their heads.

Percy felt a bit sad but didn't give up. The next morning, he had a fun idea. He rolled in the mud behind the barn, splashing and giggling. "Look at how muddy and happy I am!" he oinked, thinking this would surely win their hearts. When the family saw him, they laughed again but said, "Argh! Pig out you go!" It seemed like Percy was still not what they wanted.

Percy was determined! On the third day, he thought really hard about what to do. He decided to show the family that he could sit nicely. He practiced for hours, finally getting it right. He sat up straight with his little ears perked up and a big smile on his face. "I can be a good pet!" he exclaimed, looking proud of himself. The family watched in surprise.

They whispered to each other, unsure of what to say. The children giggled and cheered, "Look at Percy! He is so good!" The parents exchanged glances before the dad finally said, "Well, maybe we can give him a try as a pet." They smiled at Percy, who was so happy he began to jump up and down.

From that day on, Percy lived happily with the family. He had a cozy bed made of hay in the backyard and plenty of toys to play with. Every day was an adventure, and Percy loved sharing them with his new family. He participated in family games and even joined in on their picnics. The family adored him.

One day, they had a big party at their home. Percy decided to show everyone his famous dance again. He danced with all his might, bringing laughter and joy to everyone present. His little hooves tapped on the ground, and his belly wiggled as he spun and twirled.
“Look at him go!” shouted one of the kids, clapping along. The adults cheered and laughed, no longer just the silly pig. This time, they realized Percy was more than a pig; he was part of the family. “You’re our best pet!” they yelled, making Percy squeal with delight.
From that day forward, Percy was never told to go away. They took him on family trips, and he even had a little birthday party where he got a cake made of carrots! Percy felt so loved, he couldn’t help but dance with glee!
Percy found a special place in everyone’s hearts. Their home was full of laughter and happiness, and they knew that having a pig as a pet was the best decision they ever made. Every evening, as the sun set, they shared stories together, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
And so, Percy the dancing pig and his family lived happily ever after, filled with love, fun, and a little mud. And every day, they were grateful for their unexpected, wonderful pet.
