Maya was a bright girl, full of dreams and fun. One day, she sat on her couch, feeling bored. The TV remote was on the coffee table, just a little out of reach. With a big sigh, she wished it would come to her. Suddenly, it moved!

Maya's eyes grew wide as the remote flew into her hand. She laughed and jumped up, excited and amazed. "Did I really just do that?" she wondered. She practiced her new power, moving small things around the room with her mind. It was like magic!
Maya told her best friend, Jay, about her special gift. Together, they made a game of it. They laughed and took turns moving toys and books without touching them. Each time, they cheered and giggled, having so much fun with their new game.
One day, a strong wind blew open the door, and the kite flew in. It landed on the ceiling fan! Maya felt brave. She concentrated and lifted the kite up with her mind. "Wow! That was super cool!" Jay shouted, clapping for his friend.
