Lina was a kind girl with big, bright eyes. One sunny day, she played outside with her friends. "Let's go into the forest!" said Zara, her best friend. Lina shook her head and said, "My parents warned me not to go alone." Everyone loved Lina for listening to her parents.
Even though Lina was curious, she stayed at the edge of the forest. The tall trees swayed gently. The sunlight peeked through the leaves, making patterns on the ground. Lina thought of her friends playing deeper in the forest, but she remembered her parents' words.
Zara and the others ran into the forest, laughing and playing. But soon, they wandered too far. "Where are we?" Zara asked, feeling a bit scared. The trees looked the same, and they couldn't find their way back.
Lina watched from a distance. She began to worry. "I should help them!" she thought. While the others played, Lina ran back to her house. She told her parents, "My friends are lost in the forest!" Her parents nodded and knew they must help.
They quickly gathered some other neighbors. They all went to the forest, following Lina as she led the way. "This way!" she said, pointing to a little path between the bushes. "I saw them go that way!"
The group walked carefully, following Lina. They called out, "Zara! They are still playing and not paying attention. Not far, Lina spotted them. "There they are!" she said, running ahead when she saw Zara and her friends!
Zara's face lit up. "Lina!" she shouted. "We were worried!" They hugged her tightly. “I followed my parents' advice and stayed safe,” Lina said proudly. “But I knew I had to help you.” Everyone smiled, grateful for Lina’s bravery.
Soon, the rescuers found the lost friends. They led them out of the forest. Everyone was so thankful to Lina. "You saved us!" shouted Zara, smiling broadly. Lina felt proud but also happy that everyone was safe.
From that day on, Lina was a hero. Everyone admired her wisdom. “You are so smart, Lina!” they said. Lina smiled, knowing that listening to her parents had kept her safe and helped her friends.
Now, whenever she played, her friends would say, “Let’s be like Lina! Let's be safe and listen too!” And so, they played together, remembering the adventure they had in the forest.
