Karl-Anthony Towns was a star on the court. He loved his friends, especially Anthony Edwards, who always brought good sport. Every night they'd meet under the moonlight gloom, dreaming of baskets and making the crowd boom.
They would roll down hills, laughing all the way. KAT would dunk the ball, as Anthony would say, "Let’s attack it hard, let’s show them our might!" Their friendship was solid, like stars shining bright.

One day, they faced a tough team in a thrilling game. KAT took a deep breath, he knew it was fame. With seconds to spare and the score oh so tight, he dribbled and shot, under the stadium light.

The ball sailed so high, as if it could fly, it swooshed through the net, and oh, my, oh my! The crowd went wild, they cheered and they screamed, together, Anthony and KAT had dreamed!

But oh no! A twist in the tale appeared, KAT had to leave, and his heart filled with fear. "I’m off to the Knicks!" he said, feeling blue. His friends gathered 'round, not knowing what to do.

"We’ll always be friends no matter the place. You’ll shine like the sun; you’ll run with great grace!" Anthony shouted as he wiped away tears, their bond was unbreakable, it would last through the years.

As KAT packed his bags, memories rushed in, of nights on the court, and the joy from within. He knew that with time, they would find their way back, for true friendship never fades, it stays on track.

So off went KAT with a smile on his face, to chase new dreams in a different place. And Anthony stood tall, with a heart full of cheer, knowing one day, his best friend would be near.

They’d shoot for the stars, every basket they score, their friendship was gold, and it opened each door. So when you shoot your shot, and aim for the win, remember it’s love that makes the game begin!
