Fireman Frank woke up with a smile. "Today is a great day to help everyone!" he said to his cat, Smokey. Smokey purred and wiggled his tail. Frank put on his red helmet and shiny coat. He ran to the fire truck, ready for action!
Suddenly, the alarm rang! "We have a fire!" shouted Frank. He jumped into the fire truck. "Let’s go, team!" he said. They raced through the streets, lights flashing and sirens blaring. When they arrived, Frank saw smoke and flames. "Don't worry! We’ll put it out!" he called to the scared family nearby.
Fireman Frank grabbed the big hose and gave a nod to his team. "Let's work together!" he cheered. Water sprayed onto the fire, sizzle and steam filled the air. Slowly, the flames danced smaller and smaller until they were all gone. "Hooray!" shouted the children, clapping their hands happily.
Then, Fireman Frank noticed Smokey had followed him all the way to the scene. "Oh, Smokey!" laughed Frank, picking him up. "You wanted to help too!" Smokey meowed and snuggled against Frank's cheek, glad the fire was out. The family waved and thanked Frank and his team for being so brave and quick.
Back at the fire station, Frank and Smokey sat outside, watching the sunset. "What a day! We did it, Smokey," Frank said with a proud smile. Smokey purred softly, resting in Frank's lap. And as the stars twinkled above, Frank whispered, "Tomorrow, we'll be ready to help again."]} ì…‹.
