Bobby the Bear loved berries so sweet. He thought they were just the best thing to eat! One morning he woke up, the sun shining bright, He decided to find berries, a wonderful sight!
He wandered through the woods, oh what a thrill! He sniffed and he searched, up and down every hill. With his nose in the air and his tummy in a stir, Bobby dreamed of the biggest, juiciest blur!
As he walked through the forest, he saw something slow, A wise old tortoise, moving nice and low. 'Hello there, Bobby!' the tortoise exclaimed, 'Berries are lovely, but patience is famed.'
Bobby was puzzled, he scratched his head, 'Patience?' he asked, 'What does that mean?' he said. The tortoise just smiled and said, 'Come, take a seat, Let me tell you a tale about berries to eat.'
So Bobby sat down, with the tortoise so wise, 'Berries will come when you’re calm and you rise. Instead of rushing, let nature do its way. Good things will come, just wait for the day!'
While waiting together, they shared some fine snacks, Blueberries and strawberries, yummy in packs. They laughed and they talked, sharing stories so bright, Bobby felt warm, everything felt so right.
At last, in the bushes, he saw a big glow, The biggest red berries! They were all in a row! 'Look at those berries!' Bobby jumped with glee, 'I waited, and now they're as large as can be!'
Together they picked them, piled high in a bowl, Juicy and sweet, oh, what a grand goal! Bobby smiled wide, sharing them with his friend, 'Thank you, dear tortoise, for patience to blend.'
As they munched and they chewed, Bobby grinned ear to ear, 'With friendship and patience, there's nothing to fear! We’ll have berry feasts, over and over again, You’ve taught me a lesson, dear wise old friend.'
So off they both went, with berries galore, Bobby the Bear, and his friend, whom he adored. They laughed in the woods, under skies so blue, Bobby found berries but friendship, too!
