"Hi! My name is Allana!" she greeted with a smile that sparkled like the sun. At 16, she enjoyed every minute in Iligan City, even though she now lived at purok 26 in Manticao, Misamis Oriental. With three siblings, life was busy! "Good morning, kuya Allan!" she called, rushing to the kitchen where her eldest brother was making breakfast. "Want some eggs?" he asked. "Yes, please!" replied Allana cheerily, her eyes bright with excitement for the day ahead.
As the aroma of breakfast filled the air, Allana's younger siblings, Carlo and Mia, shuffled into the kitchen, still rubbing sleep from their eyes. 'Good morning!' they chimed together, plopping into their seats at the table. The kitchen was full of chatter and laughter, the kind that made the room feel warmer. Allana loved these moments, with her family gathered around, sharing stories and dreams.
After breakfast, it was time for chores. 'I'll take care of the dishes!' Allana volunteered, rolling up her sleeves. Kuya Allan gave her a grateful nod, while Carlo and Mia headed outside to feed the chickens. The sun was already high, casting playful shadows on the garden as they worked. Allana hummed a tune as she scrubbed the plates, thinking about the adventures the weekend might hold.
Once the chores were done, the siblings huddled together to plan their afternoon. 'Let’s explore the riverbank!' suggested Carlo, his eyes lighting up with excitement. Mia clapped her hands in agreement, her pigtails bouncing with every nod. Allana smiled, remembering how much they all loved the cool, refreshing water and the chance to spot colorful fish swimming by. It was a perfect way to spend a sunny day.
The afternoon sun dipped low in the sky as they returned home, their feet muddy and hearts full of joy. 'Today was fun!' declared Mia, skipping alongside her siblings. Allana nodded, feeling grateful for her busy days filled with family and adventure. As they settled in for the evening, she knew that no matter where life took her, moments like these would always be her favorite.
