Once in a bright kingdom, there were twelve princesses. Every night, they would disappear and dance until dawn. The king was puzzled and sad. He wanted to know where they went! One day, a curious soldier came to the castle. He heard the king's problem and wanted to help. He thought about what could be wrong. The soldier decided to follow the princesses one night.

That night, the soldier hid quietly. He waited and watched as the princesses dressed in glittery gowns. They looked like stars! Each princess had a crown that sparkled in the moonlight. With a hint of magic, they giggled and ran out of the castle. The soldier followed them through the dark forest. He was determined to discover their secret.

The princesses arrived at a magical lake filled with sparkling water. The water shimmered like diamonds! There were beautiful flowers around, glowing in bright colors. The soldier gasped as he saw the princesses take off their shoes, revealing their tired little feet. They started dancing on the soft grass. The sound of their giggles was like music in the night!

As the soldier watched, he noticed something strange. A fairy appeared! The tiny fairy wore a dress made of petals. She waved her wand and beautiful lights filled the air. That night, the soldier hid again by the lake. He held a special mirror that sparkled like stars. When the fairy appeared, he showed her the mirror. The lights from the mirror shined bright! The fairy was amazed and confused. The soldier spoke softly, telling her that the princesses needed to rest.
