Once there was a sad shoemaker. He had no money and no shoes to sell. He worked hard, but times were tough. One night, he went to bed feeling very upset. He wished for help. Suddenly, tiny elves appeared! They were ready to help him. They told him, "Do not worry! We will make shoes for you while you sleep!"
The shoemaker was surprised. He could hardly believe his eyes! The little elves got to work right away. They danced around, cutting leather and stitching it together. They worked with great joy, humming little tunes. The shoemaker watched them, feeling happy and relaxed. He had never seen such skill!

When morning came, the shoemaker woke up. He rubbed his eyes and looked around. To his amazement, there were beautiful shoes all lined up! Each pair was colorful and shining.
