The Brave Little Parrot

Polly is a bright green parrot. She has beautiful, shiny feathers and a cheerful voice. One sunny day, Polly noticed her flock was missing. She flapped her wings and looked around. "I must find my friends!" she said, full of hope.

Suddenly, Polly heard a rustle in the bushes. She landed softly and peeked inside. Out popped a little rabbit! It looked hungry and scared. "Hello, little friend!" said Polly with a smile. "Do you need help?"

The rabbit nodded, looking up at Polly with big eyes. "I lost my way," it said. Polly had an idea! She said, "Let’s work together! I will help you, and you can help me find my flock!"

Polly and the rabbit, who was named Benny, walked together. They asked a wise old owl for directions. The owl hooted, "Fly to the mountain and follow the river. Your friends might be there!"

Off they went! Polly huddled close to Benny as they walked. They sang songs and laughed, feeling brave. "Nothing can stop us!" Polly chirped happily, flapping her wings.

At the edge of the mountain, Polly saw a rainbow of colorful birds. Could they be her flock? She felt excitement swirl in her heart. "I will find out!" she declared. With a brave heart, she flew up high!

When she got closer, Polly saw her friends! The flock was caught in branches! Polly’s heart raced. She quickly called out, "Hold on, friends! I’m here to help!"
