Join brave Lena as she faces the challenges of Baba Yaga, the witch with a house on chicken legs! Discover courage and strength in this delightful adventure.
Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a brave girl named Lena. She had bright blue eyes and wild, curly hair that danced like the wind. Lena loved to explore the forest behind her home, where stories of Baba Yaga, the scary witch, filled the air.
One day, Lena decided to visit Baba Yaga's house, which stood on chicken legs! It was a tall, crooked hut with windows that glowed in the dark. With a deep breath, Lena stepped into the forest, feeling both scared and excited.
When she reached the crooked hut, it began to spin! Lena giggled and said, 'Stop! I need to talk to you, Baba Yaga!' The hut stopped turning, and out came Baba Yaga, with her long, white hair and a pointy hat that looked like it could fly away.
Baba Yaga smiled, showing her sharp, crooked teeth. 'Why are you here, little girl?' she asked in a voice that rumbled like thunder. Lena straightened her shoulders and said, 'I want to see if I can be brave like the stories say.'
'To be brave, you must complete three tasks!' Baba Yaga declared. Lena nodded bravely, ready to face the challenges ahead. She thought of her friends, cheering her on, and felt strong inside.
The first task was to find a golden egg in the deepest part of the forest. Lena searched high and low, climbing trees and peeking under bushes. Finally, she spotted the shiny egg resting on a mossy stone!
The second task was to catch a wild bird that sang the sweetest song. Lena used a little bit of bread and patience. Soon, a beautiful bluebird landed in her hands, singing happily!
For the last task, Baba Yaga wanted Lena to help some forest animals in trouble. Lena found a little fox stuck in a thorny bush. With gentle hands, she freed the fox, and it wagged its tail in thanks!
When Lena returned, Baba Yaga clapped her hands with joy! 'You did it! You have shown great courage and kindness!' she said with a grin. 'You are brave, just like you wished.'
Lena smiled brightly, feeling proud. She returned to her village with stories to tell, knowing she could face anything that came her way. And from that day on, Baba Yaga was no longer just a scary witch, but a friend who believed in her.
