In a cozy village, nestled between the mountains, lived two dwarves, Torin and Elara. Torin was a tall, bearded, Pagan dwarf known for his strength and laughter, while Elara, a kind-hearted Christian dwarf, was petite with bright, braided hair. One starry night, as they sat by the fire, Torin sighed and said, "Elara, I fear for our little Faye. Perhaps it would be best if we end this now before she suffers." Elara looked at him sternly and replied, "Torin, my love, abortion is a sin. Faye deserves a chance at life, even if it's a hard one." Torin's heart sank, feeling torn between his beliefs and the pain they faced.
Faye lived for sixteen bright years, filling their home with joy, laughter, and warmth despite her illness. She loved wearing her little Christian cross, and every night, Elara would read her stories of hope and bravery. On a beautiful spring morning, Faye closed her eyes for the last time, surrounded by her loving family. After her burial, Elara found Torin at the church, tears in his eyes. "She was a gift from God, wasn't she?" he whispered. The priest, hearing this, nodded and said, "Would you like her memory to be honored through baptism?" With a heavy heart, Torin agreed, finding peace in Elara's faith.
After Faye's baptism, the warmth of their love bloomed brighter than ever. Torin realized that life was about embracing hope, no matter the struggles ahead.
