It was a dark night, and the stars twinkled bright. Timmy and Lily, two brave friends, were on their way home. They took a shortcut through the Whispering Woods. Suddenly, they heard a soft voice calling their names. 'Timmy! Lily!' it whispered. They felt a chill run down their spines!

Timmy looked at Lily, his eyes wide. 'Did you hear that?' Lily nodded, shivering. They decided to follow the voice. It led them deeper into the woods. The trees seemed to sway, like they were watching. The shadows danced around them, and the moon hid behind the clouds.
As they walked, the voice grew louder. 'Come play with me!' it called. They could see a flicker of light in the distance. 'Maybe it's a good ghost,' said Timmy. They hurried toward the light, curiosity mixing with fear.
When they reached the light, they found a friendly ghost named Bella. She wore a white dress and had sparkling eyes. She giggled and said, 'Do not be afraid! I just want some friends!' Timmy and Lily felt relieved and smiled back.
From that night on, Timmy, Lily, and Bella played together in the woods. They told stories and shared giggles under the moonlight. The Whispering Woods was no longer scary but a fun place of adventure!
