Once upon a time, in a sunny meadow, lived a speedy rabbit named Ruby. She often bragged, "I am the fastest in the whole forest!" One day, Tilly the tortoise, slow yet steady, said, "I can beat you, Ruby!" Ruby laughed, her long ears bouncing. "You think you can win? Let's race!" Tilly smiled, not worried about the challenge, and they agreed to race the next day.

On the day of the race, all the animals gathered to watch. "Get ready, set, go!" shouted the wise old owl. Ruby dashed off, her paws a blur. Tilly took her time, moving slowly and carefully. After a while, Ruby, way ahead, thought, "I’ll take a nap. I have all the time!" But Tilly kept moving, moving, never stopping. When Ruby woke up, she saw Tilly near the finish line. "Oh no!" Ruby gasped, and she raced as fast as she could. But it was too late! Tilly crossed the finish line first! Everyone cheered for Tilly, and Ruby learned that slow and steady wins the race!
