Once upon a time, in a jungle bright and green, lived a great big lion named Leo. He was mighty and strong, with a golden mane that shone like the sun. Leo walked proudly through the trees, and all the animals admired him, except one tiny mouse named Max, who always scurried by without a glance.

One sunny day, as Leo napped under a shady tree, Max accidentally ran right over his big paw. Leo woke up with a roar! "Who woke me?" he growled, looking down at the tiny mouse. Max was scared but squeaked, "It was me! Iâm so sorry! Please don't eat me!"

Leo laughed at the little mouse, surprising him. "You think a small creature like you can wake me? I am the king of the jungle!" Max quivered but said, "Even kings need friends, Leo. I may be small, but I can help you one day!" Leo shook his head, not believing a little mouse could help a lion.

Then, one day, as Leo was roaming the jungle, he got his paw stuck in some thick vines. He pulled and pulled but could not break free. He felt scared and frustrated. All the other animals heard his roars for help but didnât dare come close. They thought the great lion was too fierce!

Suddenly, Max the mouse heard the roars. He remembered his promise to help Leo. Without thinking, he rushed to the lionâs side. "Don't worry, Leo! I will help you!" Max squeaked, and he started to nibble at the vines that held Leo's paw tightly.

At first, Leo was surprised. "Why are you here, little mouse? I'm too big and powerful for your help!" But Max didnât listen. He nibbled and nibbled until finally, with a snap, Leo was free! The lion was amazed and grateful. âThank you, Max! I never thought you could help me!â

Max smiled and said, "Itâs not the size that matters, Leo, itâs the size of our hearts! We can all help each other, no matter how small or big we are!" Leo nodded, realizing that he had learned something very important about friendship.

From that day on, Leo and Max became the best of friends. They played together, explored the jungle, and helped other animals in trouble as a team. Everyone laughed, and they said, âWhat a surprise! A lion and a mouse, together side by side!â

The jungle was filled with joy and laughter, and Leo proudly said, âMax, you are my smallest friend, but you have the biggest heart! Thank you for showing me that kindness can come in all shapes and sizes." And they lived happily ever after, ruling the jungle together!
