The Kind Heart of Timmy

In a small, cozy house in the middle of a green forest lived a little boy named Timmy and his grandfather. One sunny day, Timmy giggled, "Grandpa, let's pick some fruits! Maybe we can have a treat!" Just then, there was a soft knock at the door. An old woman with a tired face stood outside, her eyes hungry. "Please, kind boy, may I have some food? I'm very hungry," she asked with a shaky voice.

Timmy looked at his grandfather, then back at the old woman. "We are poor, and we have no food," he said gently, “But I picked some juicy fruits this morning in the forest. You can have them!" The old woman smiled brightly. "Thank you, young man! Your kindness will make your heart big and bright!" Timmy felt warm inside as he shared the fruits, knowing that even the smallest gift can bring great joy.

As the kind old woman took the fruits, Timmy noticed a spark of happiness in her eyes. Grandpa whispered, "Kindness is the best gift, Timmy," and ruffled his hair. The old woman handed Timmy a tiny, shiny pebble. "This is a magic pebble," she said with a wink. "Whenever you feel sad or lonely, hold it tight, and you'll remember the joy of giving." Timmy smiled and slipped the pebble into his pocket, feeling its warmth.

Later that afternoon, Timmy felt curious and decided to explore the forest further. With the magic pebble snug in his pocket, he skipped along the leafy path. Suddenly, he saw a family of squirrels looking for acorns. Remembering the old woman's words, Timmy shared the rest of his fruits with them. "Here you go, little friends!" he chirped, and the squirrels chattered back happily.

When he returned home, the sun was setting, painting the sky with colors. Timmy told Grandpa about his adventure with the squirrels. "Your heart is growing bigger every day," Grandpa chuckled, hugging Timmy tight. Timmy knew, with his pebble and his kind heart, he could make the world a little brighter. And that night, he dreamt of giving, sharing, and the endless joy it brings.
