Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a brave girl named Mira. She loved adventure and her heart was full of dreams. One day, she heard a tale about Baba Yaga, a witch who lived in a hut on chicken legs. Everyone said Baba Yaga was scary, but Mira was not afraid.
Mira decided to find Baba Yaga and see if the tales were true. She walked through the thick forest, with tall trees whispering secrets. As she walked, she spotted a path lined with flowers. They were bright and colorful, guiding her feet. Mira smiled, feeling bold and excited!
Soon, she reached the hut that danced on chicken legs. It turned, twirled, and finally stopped in front of her. "Who dares to come here?" a voice called out. It was Baba Yaga, with wild hair and a crooked nose. But Mira stood tall and called out, "It’s me, Mira! I am here to meet you!"
Baba Yaga peered at Mira with her sharp eyes. "Do you think you're brave enough to answer my riddles?" she asked, grinning. Mira nodded, her heart racing with determination. She loved puzzles and riddles!"
With a wave of her hand, Baba Yaga said, "Here is your first riddle: What has keys but can’t open locks?" Mira thought hard. Then she remembered her father playing music! "A piano!" she exclaimed. Baba Yaga's eyes widened with surprise and delight!
"You are clever, little girl!" said Baba Yaga. "But do you think you can solve another riddle?" Mira felt the spark of confidence grow inside her. "Yes, I can!" she shouted! Baba Yaga smiled, pleased with her spirit. She spoke again, "What runs but never walks, has a mouth but never talks?"
Mira thought of rivers and streams that flowed. Suddenly, she shouted, "A river!" Baba Yaga laughed, her sound was like tinkling bells. "You have a quick mind, Mira! One more riddle awaits!" Mira felt proud, she was doing so well!
Baba Yaga said, "What can travel around the world while staying in a corner?" This one made Mira think deeply. Then, her face lit up! "A stamp!" she answered joyfully. Baba Yaga clapped her hands, delighted. "You have bested me, brave girl!"
Finally, Baba Yaga leaned closer and said, "You have the heart of a true adventurer. Remember, courage and wit are your strongest allies!" With a swish of her fingers, she gifted Mira a beautiful feather. This feather would always remind her of her adventure!
Mira thanked Baba Yaga and skipped home with her treasure. She felt stronger and braver than ever. From that day, she knew that no one could scare her, for she had faced Baba Yaga and discovered her own courage!
