Juha was a clever man who loved to make people laugh. One sunny day, his friend said, "Juha, can you tell us a funny story?" Juha smiled and said, "Of course! Let me tell you about the time I tried to ride a donkey to the market!" The children giggled, eager to hear more. Juha went on, "As soon as I hopped on, the donkey started to trot fast! I shouted, ‘Stop, donkey, stop!’ but it just went faster!"
Everyone in the village heard Juha's shout. They came out to see what was happening. He laughed, saying, "I think the donkey wanted to go shopping too!" The villagers joined in the fun, laughing at the silly sight of Juha and the zooming donkey. After they reached the market, Juha finally jumped off and said, ‘Donkey, that was quite a ride! Next time, let’s take it slow!’ The villagers cheered and Juha chuckled, knowing he had given them a great story to share.
Juha decided it was time for a little rest and a snack after such an adventure. He found a cozy spot under a shady tree and sat down with a basket of apples. The donkey, feeling quite proud of itself, gave a happy bray and settled next to Juha. Juha chuckled, "You might be the fastest donkey around, but I bet you can't catch this apple!" He tossed an apple into the air, and the donkey playfully tried to grab it with its mouth.
The children gathered around Juha and the donkey, clapping and cheering. "Do it again!" they shouted, their smiles as bright as the sun. Juha obliged, tossing another apple high. This time, the donkey caught it perfectly, making everyone cheer even louder. Juha patted the donkey, saying, "You really are full of surprises, my friend!" The donkey gave a little bow, which sent everyone into fits of giggles.
As the day came to an end, Juha stood up and stretched. "Well, my friends," he said, "it seems I have a new story to tell about a donkey who loves apples and a market ride that turned into a race!" The villagers laughed and waved as Juha and the donkey trotted back home. "Remember," Juha called out, "the best adventures are the ones shared with friends!" And with that, Juha and his funny donkey disappeared into the sunset, leaving behind a village full of smiles.
