James was a young Arabic American boy. He loved to play soccer and ride his bike. But there was one thing that made him sad. He did not know how to speak Arabic very well. His father noticed this and wanted to help him.
One day, James's dad said, "This summer, we are going to Saudi Arabia!" James's eyes went wide. He could not believe it! His dad explained they would visit his family and learn Arabic together.
In Saudi Arabia, everything was different. The streets were busy, and the food smelled delicious. James saw bright colors all around him. His cousins greeted him with big smiles. They spoke Arabic fast, and James tried his best to keep up.
Every day, James learned new words. He practiced with his cousins while playing games. They showed him how to greet people and say, 'Thank you'. Soon, James felt more confident. Arabic was becoming easier for him!
At the end of the summer, James returned home. He could speak Arabic much better now. His dad was proud of him. James smiled and thought about how much fun he had in Saudi Arabia. He was excited to keep learning.
