Ben had a big, blue balloon that floated high above his head. "I love you, balloon!" Ben shouted joyfully. One day, a big breeze blew with a mighty whoosh! The balloon started to go up, up, up! "Oh no!" Ben said, his eyes wide with surprise. He ran after it, his little feet pattering on the ground, determined to catch his beloved balloon.
Ben zigzagged past a barn with cows mooing and a bridge that arch looked like a rainbow. "Come back!" he yelled, but the balloon was too high above the trees, dancing in the sky. Suddenly, a bird with big wings swooped by and saw Ben struggling. "I will help!" said the bird, flapping its wings mightily. With a gentle bump, the bird sent the balloon back down. Ben caught it! "Thank you, bird!" he cheered. Holding the blue balloon tight, he smiled big and said, "I won't let go again!"
Ben decided to take a different path home, skipping happily while holding his balloon tight. He saw colorful flowers swaying in the breeze and a butterfly fluttering near. 'Look, balloon! Friends!' he giggled, waving the balloon at the cheerful butterfly. The butterfly danced around the balloon, as if it too was saying hello!
As Ben walked further, he spotted his friend Mia playing with her yellow kite. 'Hi, Ben!' Mia called, her eyes bright. 'Can your balloon fly like my kite?' Ben smiled and lifted his blue balloon high. Together, they watched as the balloon and kite twirled in the soft breeze.
When the sun began to set, Ben hugged his balloon close and waved goodbye to Mia. 'Time to go home, balloon!' he said, feeling happy and peaceful. As he walked back, the sky turned pink and orange, and Ben whispered, 'Thank you for such a fun day.' The balloon bobbed gently in agreement, ready for more adventures tomorrow.
