"Let’s go to the zoo!" shouted Max. His friend Leo jumped up. "Yes! I want to see lions!" They were so excited!

Max and Leo ran to the zoo entrance. They saw a big sign that said 'Welcome to the Zoo!' The zoo was full of colors everywhere.

First, they saw the monkeys. The monkeys swung from the trees. "Look at them go!" laughed Max. "They are so silly!"

Next, they visited the lions. The lions were sleeping under a tree. "Shh, Leo! Don't wake them up!" Max whispered. They watched quietly.

Then, they moved to the elephant area. The elephants were splashing water on each other. "Let's splash too!" said Leo, as he danced around.

After the elephants, they went to see the penguins. The penguins waddled funny. "They are like little tuxedos!" Max giggled. Leo laughed along.

Finally, they found the gift shop. "Can we get a toy?" Max asked. "Yes! Let’s get a lion!" replied Leo with a big smile.

With toy lions in their hands, they walked out. "Today was the best day ever!" said Max with joy.

Leo agreed, "I can’t wait to tell everyone about our zoo adventure!" They were happy and tired.

As they headed home, the boys dreamed of more fun times at the zoo.
