Once upon a time, there was a poor woodcutter named Tim. One sunny day, Tim was near the river, cutting wood. He swung his axe, but suddenly it slipped from his hand and went into the water with a big splash! Tim frowned and said, "Oh no! That was my only tool! How will I earn money now?" Just then, a kind angel appeared and asked, "Why are you sad, Tim?" Tim told her about his lost axe.
The angel smiled and said, "Don't worry! I can help!" She jumped into the river and came back with a shiny golden axe. "Is this yours?" she asked. Tim shook his head and replied, "No, that's not mine!" Then the angel brought up a sparkling silver axe. Once again, Tim said, "No, that's not mine either!" Finally, the angel pulled out Tim's old, rusty iron axe. Tim's face lit up with joy, "Yes, that's mine!" The angel praised him for his honesty and gifted him all three axes. Tim was so happy!
With the three axes in his hands, Tim thanked the angel warmly. He promised to use the golden and silver axes wisely, while keeping his old axe close to his heart. As the angel vanished into the sunlight, Tim waved goodbye, feeling grateful and blessed. He knew his honesty had brought him wonderful gifts, and he skipped happily back to the village.
When Tim reached his home, he told his friends about the angel and the magical axes. Everyone was amazed and praised Tim for being such a truthful person. Little children gathered around to listen to his story, their eyes wide with wonder. Tim smiled and said, 'Always be honest and good things will happen!' The villagers nodded, inspired by Tim's adventure.
From that day on, Tim was known as the honest woodcutter in the village. He worked hard with his new axes and always remembered the angel's kindness. His heart was full of joy and his life was filled with happiness. And every time he passed by the river, he would smile, knowing he had learned the true value of honesty.
