Last week, my friends Sara, Dana, and I went to Al-Areen Zoo. It was hot and sunny. We laughed and cheered, "Look at the lions!" Sara pointed, while Dana exclaimed, "The peacocks are so beautiful!" Suddenly, a small flamingo ran after us, flapping its wings. We screamed, running away as fast as we could until we reached a small lake. "Phew! That was scary!" I said, catching my breath as we played with the friendly ducks.
While playing with the ducks, I noticed something shiny by the water's edge. I bent down to look closer and picked it up. It was a golden watch, muddy but sparkling! My friends and I gasped in delight. It must be very expensive! After a few minutes, I decided to take the watch to the security office. "I found this by the lake!" I told the guard. He smiled warmly and thanked me. "Your honesty is commendable!" he said, handing me 100 BD as a reward. What a wonderful end to an amazing trip!
After we left the security office, we couldn't stop talking about the golden watch and the reward. 'Can you believe it?' Dana said, her eyes wide with excitement. 'We're rich!' Sara giggled, 'Well, maybe not rich, but we can certainly buy lots of ice cream now!' The thought of delicious cold treats made us all squeal with delight as we headed to the zoo's ice cream stand.
As we sat under a shady tree, enjoying our ice cream, an older gentleman approached us. He wore a hat and had a kind smile. 'Excuse me, young ones,' he said gently, 'I heard you found a golden watch today. It belongs to my father, and it means a lot to him.' We were eager to help, so we quickly explained that we had already returned it to the security guard. The man looked relieved and grateful, thanking us profusely for our honesty.
On our way out of the zoo, we talked about how lucky we were to help someone in need. 'It's like we had our own adventure today,' I said, feeling proud of what we'd done. 'And we got to make someone happy!' Sara chimed in. As we left the gates of Al-Areen Zoo, the sun began to set, painting the sky with shades of orange and pink, marking the end of our unforgettable day filled with friendship, excitement, and the joy of doing the right thing.
