"Ready!" shouted Peter Pan, his green outfit shining in the sunlight. Captain Hook frowned, crossing his arms. “I’ll win this time, Pan!” he said. They decided to play a game of "Green Light, Red Light" on the shores of Neverland.
Peter stood tall at the starting line. “Green light!” he called with a laugh. He dashed forward, his shadow dancing behind him. Hook scowled but couldn’t help but chase him, his boots thumping on the ground.
"Red light!" shouted Peter suddenly, spinning around. Hook stopped in his tracks, pretending to be a statue. Peter giggled, peeking out from behind a tree and sticking his tongue out.
“You can’t catch me, Hook!” Peter teased, with a playful twinkle in his eye. Hook glared but smiled inside. This was a fun game, and he enjoyed the competition with his rival.
"Green light!" Peter shouted again, running faster. Hook took off after him, his hook swinging. The wind whipped through their hair as they raced across the sand beach.
“I won't give up!” Hook yelled, jumping over a rock. Peter cheered, “You’re getting close! Keep going!” They both laughed, their spirits high under the sunny sky.
"Red light!" Peter called again. Hook froze, trying to keep his balance. “If I catch you, I’ll be the captain of Neverland!” he declared with a grin.
Peter burst into laughter, “Only if you can catch me first! Let’s go!” He darted away like the wind, his laughter echoing in the trees.
Hook took a deep breath and shouted,
Red light!" Peter stopped, grinning from ear to ear. Hook pounced, but he stumbled and fell into a pile of leaves, making both of them roar with laughter.
In the end, it didn't matter who won. They both agreed: spending the day playing together was the best adventure of all.
