Jupiter is a cheerful four-year-old boy. He has short, curly hair and sparkling brown eyes. One chilly day, he feels bored at home. He decides to bake a gingerbread man to eat. He giggles as he rolls the dough and cuts out a shape.
The gingerbread man goes into the oven, and the warm scent fills the kitchen. Suddenly, when Jupiter opens the oven, the gingerbread man jumps out! He is alive! "Run!" he shouts, racing across the kitchen floor and out the door into the snow.
Jupiter chases after him, laughter ringing out. In the snowy yard, the gingerbread man says, "I'm lost! I need to find the gingerbread castle where the sugar plum fairy lives!" Jupiter agrees to help and becomes the gingerbread man's friend.
Together, they start their adventure through the snowy woods. They cross a big frozen pond and climb over fluffy snowdrifts. Oh no! A sneaky fox appears! But Jupiter remembers that gingerbread is sweet, so he throws some crumbs to distract the fox, and they safely pass.
Finally, they see the tall, glittering castle made of candy! Jupiter and the gingerbread man hug, happy to have together reached the gingerbread castle. They wave goodbye, knowing they will always be friends. The gingerbread man runs inside to see the sugar plum fairy, who welcomes him home.
