Whiskers was a brave cat who lived in a big, cozy house. She had fluffy fur and bright green eyes. One day, Whiskers heard a soft voice. It was her friend, a shy ghost named Casper. "Help me, please!" Casper said, floating in the air.
Casper was scared of humans. He wanted to make friends but did not know how. Whiskers smiled and said, "Don't worry, I will help you!" They both jumped out of the window and landed softly on the grass below.
Whiskers took Casper to the park. "Look at all the children playing!" she said. Casper watched with wide eyes. He wanted to play too, but he was too shy. Whiskers had a plan to help him feel brave.
Whiskers spotted a little boy sitting alone. She said, "Casper, let’s go talk to him!" They approached the boy together. Whiskers purred softly, and the boy looked up and smiled. Casper felt a little better already!
Whiskers encouraged Casper to say hello. "Just say 'boo'!" she whispered. Casper took a deep breath and said, 'Boo!' The boy giggled and said, 'A friendly ghost!' Casper felt happy inside.
The boy introduced himself as Timmy. He liked Whiskers and Casper right away. They started playing games together. Whiskers taught Casper how to be funny. Casper floated around, making silly faces.
As they played, more children came to join. They all laughed and cheered. Casper forgot his shyness. He was having so much fun! Whiskers felt proud of her ghost friend for being brave.
After a while, the sun began to set. Timmy waved goodbye. "I can’t wait to play with you again!" he said. Casper smiled wide. He had made a friend! Whiskers, too, was happy to see her friend shine.
That night, Casper thanked Whiskers. "I couldn’t have done this without you!" he said softly. Whiskers winked and replied, "You were brave! Just remember, making friends is all about being yourself."
From that day on, Casper made many more friends. He wasn’t scared anymore. Whiskers and Casper played together every day, spreading joy and laughter in the park.
