In a land of kings, a grand palace stood tall. One day, the king exclaimed, "I have sparkling apples, bright as the sun!" His garden was magical, and everyone loved the apples. But one day, a golden apple went missing! The king said, "Keep watch under the tree tonight!"

The eldest son was brave, so he stayed up all night. But soon, his eyes grew heavy. "I will not sleep!" he told himself, but he closed his eyes. The next morning, the king grimaced, "Another apple is gone!"

The second son tried his best too. "I will catch the thief!" he said, determined to stay awake. But as the clock struck twelve, he fell asleep like his brother. When dawn came, the king frowned, "Two apples gone!"

Finally, it was the youngest son’s turn. He was not so sure. "I hope I can catch the thief!" he thought. Under the tree, he stayed awake. Suddenly, he saw a flash of gold in the moonlight!

A beautiful bird with golden feathers landed on the tree. He gasped, "Wow! That bird is magical!" Just then, the bird stole an apple! In a flash, he shot an arrow, but the bird flew away, leaving a feather behind.

Excited, he ran to the king. "Look at this feather!" he said. The king’s eyes grew wide. "This feather is worth a kingdom! We must find the golden bird!" he declared, his voice filled with pride.

The eldest son left first, full of confidence. On his way, a clever fox warned him, "Don’t go to the bright inn!" But ignoring the fox, he laughed and headed to the cheerful place instead. He forgot all about the bird!

Then the second son went out too. The fox appeared again but said, "Beware of the inn!" Sadly, he too fell for the music and lights and ended up just like his brother, lost in fun.

At last, it was the youngest son’s turn. "Please help me, dear fox!" he said kindly. The fox smiled, "Hold on tight to my tail, and let’s go!" They flew past trees, racing towards the village.

The fox guided him to the castle and said, "The bird is in a cage. Don’t switch it!" But the excitement overcame him, and he made a mistake. Suddenly, guards took him away! But hope was not lost...
