Once upon a time, there was a little blue engine. She was small but strong, always ready to help. This engine loved to say, "I think I can, I think I can!" One day, she saw a big mountain and a lot of toys that needed to go over it. The other engines were too busy or too big to help. The little engine knew she could try!
The toys looked so sad, waiting by the tracks. There were teddy bears, dolls, and bright red trucks. They wanted to play, but they were stuck. The little engine puffed up her chest. She took a deep breath and said, "I think I can, I think I can!"
First, the little engine approached the mountain's steep side. Her wheels began to turn, and she gave a joyful ride. "Up we go!" she cheered, full of hope. With each chug and puff, she climbed, learning to cope. "I think I can, I think I can!" echoed in the air,
The mountain was high, and the road was long. Other engines watched, thinking she was wrong. But the little engine was not afraid. With every little effort, she felt more brave. "I think I can, I think I can!" she cried out loud, making all the toys very proud.
As she reached the top, the view was so bright! The sun shone down, and everything felt right. The little engine smiled, feeling so grand. She was helping the toys with a gentle hand. "I think I can, I think I can!" made her feel strong,
Now came the moment to go down the hill. The wind in her face was a great big thrill. With the toys behind her, she rolled down fast. The little engine felt happy, oh what a blast! "I think I can, I think I can!" she sang with delight,
At the bottom, the toys cheered, they were all so glad! The little blue engine felt so happy, not sad. They played all day under the bright sunny sky. The little engine learned that she could always try. "I think I can, I think I can!" she said with cheer,
When evening came, they all gathered round. The little engine shared her story, a treasure she found. "Believe in yourself and never lose hope. You can do anything, just learn how to cope!" she told the toys as they listened in awe.
The stars began twinkling, a blanket of light. The little blue engine felt warm with delight. "I think I can, I think I can!" she whispered to the night. With dreams of adventures, she cuddled up tight.
And so, dear children, remember her story. The little blue engine found all of her glory. Believe in your dreams, and when challenges rise, just say to yourself, "I think I can!" and watch how you rise.
