Max is a little boy with a big heart. One sunny day, he plays with his toy fox. "Look at me, Fox!" he shouts, running in circles. His mom calls out, "Max, put your toys in the boxes, and don't mix the toys!" Max nods and smiles as he thinks about the fun he is having.
With excitement, Max jumps on the boxes. He wants to reach the highest shelf. "Watch me, Fox! I'm a tall tower!" But oh no! He slips and falls down with a thud on the soft carpet. Max giggles, not scared at all.
Mom rushes in, worried but then sees Max smiling. "Are you okay, Max?" she asks. "Yes, Mommy! I’m just playing!" Max giggles as he hugs his toy fox tight. His mom sighs in relief. She knows how playful he is.
"Let's just check to be sure," Mom says and takes Max to the doctor. At the doctor’s office, Max feels brave. He holds Fox tight and looks around. "When can we go home?" he asks. The waiting room is full of colorful pictures.
The doctor smiles and says, "Now we will make an x-ray! You will see your bones!" Max's eyes widen with excitement. He imagines his bones dancing around just like him. The doctor takes pictures of his little arm and leg.
After a moment, the doctor tells Mom, "Max is fine! He has strong bones!" Max jumps up and down, saying, "Hooray! My bones can dance!" He giggles with joy, hugging Fox even tighter.
As they head home, Max says, "Thank you, Doctor! I will be careful next time!" The doctor waves goodbye, smiling. Mom nods, proud of her brave little boy.
Back at home, Max quickly picks up his toys. He puts his fox in one box and other toys in theirs. He sings, "Toys go in their spots, that's what I will do!" The room looks tidy, and Max feels happy.
Now it's time for a snack! Max munches on cookies and shares one with Fox. "You are my best friend, Fox!" he whispers, his eyes sparkling with joy. The sun shines bright outside.
As the day ends, Max cuddles Fox close. He whispers, "Tomorrow will be fun! No falling down for us!" And with that, Max falls asleep, dreaming of adventures with his toy fox.
