This is Max. He is a little boy with a big smile. One sunny day, Max said to his toy Fox, "I like to have a castle!" Whispering dreams, Max decided to build one. He picked up his toys and put them in a big box.
Max ran to the beach with a skip in his step. The golden sand was warm under his little feet. He rolled up his sleeves and dipped his hands into the cool water. Max mixed the water with the sand, dreaming of a grand castle.
Slowly, a castle started to form. Towers grew high and the walls were thick. Max's eyes sparkled with joy as he added seashells as decorations. "Look, Fox! It's a real castle!" he exclaimed, singing softly.
Just then, while patting down the sand, Max hurt his hand. "Ouch!" he cried, dropping Fox in the sand. His heart sank, but he knew he needed help. "I need to see a doctor!" he said bravely.
Max hurried to the doctor’s office, holding his hand tight. The waiting room had colorful pictures on the walls. Max smiled at the fun drawings while waiting nervously. "Will it hurt?" he asked Fox, who sat quietly in his pocket.
When it was his turn, the doctor smiled kindly. "Let’s check your hand!" said the doctor, gently. Max felt both excited and scared. The doctor took an X-ray of his hand and said, "You will be okay!"
Looking at the machine, Max thought it was just like magic. "Will I see my bones?" he asked, his eyes wide. The doctor laughed softly and nodded, "Yes! Just like a superhero!"
Soon, the nurse brought back the X-ray picture. Max looked amazed at the white shapes in the dark. "Wow! Those are my bones!" he shouted, feeling like a brave knight in his own castle.
After checking his hand, the doctor gave Max a bandage. "Now go back to your castle, brave builder!" she said, as Max waved goodbye. His heart was light, and he felt a burst of excitement.
Back at the beach, Max continued building. With his bandaged hand, he added details to his castle. "I will make it the best castle ever!" he cheered, and Fox smiled beside him, proud of his little friend.
