Madelyn was a little girl with beautiful eyes. One was bright blue like the sky, and the other was a soft green like grass. "Why do you look so funny?" teased a boy named Jake. Madelyn felt sad but replied, "I’m special!" She stood tall, even when the kids laughed. Each day at school was hard, but Madelyn loved to draw, and art made her happy.

From that day on, Madelyn embraced her differences and learned to shine.
