One sunny day, Goldilocks went for a stroll. She walked through the trees, feeling happy and whole. She found a cute house, cozy and sweet, Unknowing that bears lived there—what a treat!
Inside the house, she smelled something nice. It was porridge, warm and full of spice. Goldilocks tasted the first bowl with a frown. 'Oh no! This one’s too hot!' she said with a frown.
Next, she tried the second bowl, and it felt cold. 'Yuck! This one’s too chilly!' she felt bold. But the last bowl was perfect, just right for her. 'Mmm! This is yummy!' she said with a purr.
Goldilocks then saw chairs lined up straight. She sat in the first one, but it was too great! The chair was too big, it wobbled and creaked, So she moved to the next one, feeling a bit weak.
The second chair was small, oh what a sight! It tipped and it toppled, try as she might. But the last chair was comfy; it fit her just so. 'This is the one!' Goldilocks said with a glow.
Next, she felt sleepy and wanted to nap. She climbed into a bed, cuddled in a soft wrap. The first bed was too hard, it just wouldn’t do. The second was too soft, like a big fluffy stew!
But the last one was cozy, all warm and just right. 'I’ll take a nap here,' she said with delight. She closed her eyes and drifted away, Not knowing the bears would be home any day.
The bears came back home after a long walk. They sniffed the air, and began to talk. 'Someone’s been eating my porridge,' said the bear, 'And someone has sat in my chair over there!
The little bear peeked into the room with fright. 'Look! Someone is sleeping—oh what a sight!' Goldilocks awoke with a start and a shout. She jumped from the bed, her eyes wide with doubt.
Goldilocks ran fast, out the door she flew. The three bears watched her; they knew what to do. 'Respect others’ homes and what’s yours,' they said. Goldilocks learned well and waved her goodbye from the bed.
